Janet Rodgers, CEO and President of the ACVB, wanted to expand opportunities for interfacing with corporate meeting planners. She retained Robbie to develop and implement a strategy to mine potential targets from a list of several thousand Southeastern Meeting Planners.

Small group dialogue over lunch at Ruth Chris’ Steakhouse about the benefits and incentives for bringing corporate meetings and special events to “Awesome” Alpharetta, GA, were held monthly from June through December.

Six to eight individuals were invited to a private event with Janet and her meeting planning representative to discuss options and upcoming calendars. More than half of the new introductions resulted in putting dates on the ACVB calendar for meetings and special events that would have otherwise found other destinations.
